The Hank Invitational Hall of Fame
Inductee #1: "Hank"
Hank, the namesake of the tourney, is also its initial Hall of Fame inductee. Yes, I know that the guy pictured is really "Fluff" the PGA caddy, but the person who originally renamed our boy "Hank" screwed up when he started calling him Hank Haney. All of us were too stupid to realize his error and call him out on it, so our boy is always going to be known as "Hank" to everyone fortunate enough to be present to witness the glory and comedy of Hank's behavior. If this is still a problem you can't get past......just shut up-you're ruining it.
Plus, if I put our Hank's real name and photo on here he might find out and I could get lectured at length by Hank himself. Or at least get another rambling email about the numerous violations of USGA Rules that took place during the 2009 Hank Invitational. Nobody wins when that happens. Not even Hank. Or Fluff.
Inductees #2-11

Inductee #18
The bird that lost its life on hole #2 at Drumm Farm during Round 1 of the 2010 tournament. It was innocently flying along in the wonderful world that birds live in, singing a beautiful morning song and enjoying the day, when it was cruelly, ruthlessly, painfully, and mercilessly murdered by a tee shot at the hands of Paul Torlina. Some said it was an amazing coincidence that the ball and the bird met in a fateful manner, but others thought it might have been intentional. "I think he might have meant to do it." said tournament participant Mark Wernsman. Everyone agreed that Paul showed little remorse, only coldly and without emotion saying, "I got a birdie on number 2."
